no cash handling when buying beers but using these tokens instead
Bonfire was on all three days and nights
the beer stall - looks empty but it was early day at the time
Friday night and we invaded the local pub (amongst other rally goers and most of them were from the UK! We easily outnumbered the German locals :o))
two of the locals in the pub - still a bit shy though but the guy in the blue shirt (Siggi his name ) got quite talkative after a few beers and introduced us to some horrible schnapps (Obstler)
Jürgen the landlord - he just took over the pub and wasn't really sure how to handle all these foreign bikers :o)
Jürgen and the barmaid (sorry forgot the name of the lady)
Well, I told you that Siggi (the guy in the pub) introduced us to some horrible schnapps. And of course once started we didn't stop and we drank through the whole range of even more horrible alcoholic beverages. Which resulted in sore heads the next days and...... see next picture.....
.....SETH WAS BROKEN (that will teach you ;-))
even though we had plenty of schnapps on the Friday night we managed to get up somehow (even Seth managed in the end, hee hee...). Here we are - waiting for the bus to take us to Aachen, going to visit the bike shops
open air stage for the band. We have been told there will be an 8 man band, however, this guy was on his own (maybe he has a split personality???) . No seriously, the guy was pretty good, the 8 man band was on later at night
Emma wrapping up warm. It was bloody freezing the whole weekend
Hary and Koala. Koala wasn't too happy as we kept calling him Bob!
Emma taking pictures of Ken taking pictures of Emma
everybody rushing to the stage as the stripper was coming on
One for the girls - the male stripper
Bonfire - the place you want to be close to in these freezing temperatures
Hary and two other German guys
the female stripper (sorry, the picture is a bit dark). Some said the male was actually better then the female stripper
free coffee and food for breakfast
Dieter, Pres. of MF Kohlscheid
After the rally we went for a quick visit to see my Mum. Kenny making friends with the new puppy dog :o)
Coffee and cake for the gang
my ever so patient and lovely mum (Ma, can I come along and bring 6 friends? "Sure, why not" she says (and then she worries about what to cook :o) )
Before we went back home we stayed a night in the Formula 1 hotel in Holland
