Sand Dancers Rally 2006. Glorious sunshine. Great weekend had been had by all
The rally took place in South Shields, Newcastle, on a beautiul campsite directly at the lighthouse
Seth and Emma's new 1400's :o)
great view from "our" hill we camped on
The fog horn (~tha't the white/brown thingy in the back, in front you see big Jim ;-))
Jim and Andy
Andy and Seth
Em and Jim
silly games - pole climbing
coming down can hurt a bit if you aren't careful ;-)
is he taking his clothes off or putting them back on?
ok, he was taking his clothes off then - not the official stripper but hey.... who cares???? we are not fuzzy ;-)
another pole climber (sorry, picture is a bit dark)
sunny Saturday morning
loads more bikers appeared on Saturday to join the fun
poor guy... his marquee had been blown down. It was pretty windy at the site
the gang enjoying the sun and relaxing on the Saturday morning... too boring so where is the next pub?
Budgie and little Lara. Lara is Andy and Tam's lovely little baby girl
Marsden Grotto, a very nice pub directly at the beach. There is a lift down directly into the pub
the terrasse of the pub
there were quite a few discussions and (obvious) jokes about this rock :o)
he was feeding everybody with Absinth (I quite like this stuff)
Seth winning the furthest distance award
Em winning furthest distance female award. Tyne Phoenix MCC made a mistake and gave the award to Elaine from AIMCC . The club thought Em was a pillion, not a rider herself, tisk, tisk, tisk...However, big thanks to the lady as she handed over the trophy to Emma. Fair play! Much appreciated
And this is the lovely Elaine who officially "won" the trophy but handed it over to Em who travelled quite a few miles further
